Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist
Job Summary
To ensure timely and accurate processing of release of information (ROI) requests, the full-time remote Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist will manage requests, validate authorizations, and provide exceptional customer service while serving as a mentor and subject matter expert for the team.
Key responsibilities
- Process ROI requests accurately and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
- Validate requests and authorizations for medical record releases based on company policy and legal guidelines
- Provide onboarding and training for new employees while managing escalations and resolving issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years' ROI fulfillment experience with Sharecare HDS or 4 years of external ROI experience required
- Advanced knowledge of multiple EMR platforms and ROI request types
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet task deadlines
