Job Summary
Focused on driving innovation in the Personal Care business, the full-time Lead Scientist in Materials will identify material innovations, lead cross-functional teams, and collaborate on product development initiatives in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify material innovations aligned with consumer and business needs
- Provide leadership to drive innovation from initial product/material prototype through the development process
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including R&E, Marketing, and pilot plant operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline
- 2+ years of relevant experience in product, materials, or process development
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication skills for discussing technical issues in a business context
