Lead Snowflake Developer
Job Summary
To design and deliver enterprise data solutions, the remote Lead Snowflake Developer will lead end-to-end data engineering initiatives on the Snowflake platform, focusing on data pipeline development, optimization, and cloud architecture best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable Snowflake data warehouses and complex ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Guide and mentor data engineering teams while establishing Snowflake best practices and conducting code reviews
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse sizing, and storage utilization for performance enhancement
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and SQL/Python stored procedures
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/Scala, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Extensive experience building complex data pipelines using tools like dbt, Matillion, or Airflow
- Proven experience leading technical delivery in large-scale enterprise environments, preferably in healthcare
- Snowflake Advanced Certification (SnowPro Core / Architect) is highly preferred
