Lead Software Developer
Job Summary
Bridging technical execution and healthcare domain expertise, the full-time Lead Software Developer will own architecture and requirements validation for the CapAdmin platform, ensuring accurate claims processing and integration while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for payer and TPA workflows, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications
- Lead code reviews and mentor mid-level developers on healthcare payer concepts, ensuring high-quality code and business logic accuracy
- Own requirements completeness, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and eliminate defects
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience within a payer platform, TPA system, or claims administration software
- Strong proficiency in C# / .NET, Java, or similar enterprise languages, with experience in relational databases
- Hands-on knowledge of UB04, CMS-1500 claim processing, and EDI transactions
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and communicate effectively with technical and business audiences
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
