Lead Software Development Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Lead Software Development Engineer, this role is responsible for preparing detailed specifications, designing and coding applications, and providing support for production systems, with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and occasional flexibility required.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing detailed specifications for instrument interfaces and applications
- Designing, coding, testing, and debugging software solutions
- Providing on-call support for production systems and assisting with system maintenance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience developing applications for Windows OS using Client Server or Web-based architecture
- 7+ years of experience with JPA/ORM (Hibernate), SQL, and Laboratory Information Systems
- 5+ years of experience with InterSystems Cache'/Iris for Health and Windows applications
- 5+ years of experience in developing technical design documentation using Microsoft tools
