Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving operational excellence and platform reliability, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software and AI-powered solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions and AI automations to solve complex operational challenges
- Lead production war rooms for critical incidents, ensuring rapid service restoration and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Coordinate end-to-end release activities, including change ticket management and deployment planning
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with Java, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures
- 2+ years of experience in leading engineering teams or site operational leadership (SLO)
- 2+ years managing production support operations and leading P1/P2 incident responses
- 2+ years of experience with database design and cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- 1+ years designing or deploying AI-powered tools within enterprise workflows
