Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical direction for the Web Platform team, the full-time salaried Lead Software Engineer will manage the development and maintenance of core web application tooling and client services, including the web application, desktop client, and browser extension, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain the web monorepo tooling, including packaging infrastructure and build pipelines
• Drive modernization initiatives such as migrating to Vite and pnpm, coordinating with other teams as necessary
• Collaborate with other Tech Leads to ensure alignment of technical direction across teams

Required qualifications

• Expertise in modern web application build and packaging pipelines, including nx, webpack, Vite, npm, and pnpm
• Extensive experience in cross-platform web application development, particularly with Electron environments and browser extensions
• Experience working on a Platform team, focusing on supporting feature development for other teams
• Familiarity with AI tooling in development and testing workflows
• Strong collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
