Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading a Product Engineering squad, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will focus on designing and writing backend code in C#/.NET microservices, ensuring technical direction and delivery health, while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the technical approach for the squad's roadmap and lead design for new features on the ITL platform
- Drive frequent, low-risk production deployments and ensure the health of the services owned by the squad
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and code reviews, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Seven years or more of professional software engineering experience with production web applications and distributed services
- Five years or more of hands-on experience with C# and .NET, designing and building backend services and APIs
- Experience with distributed, event-driven architectures and designing systems using CQRS and event sourcing
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design and code reviews
