Job Summary
Leading the design and development of the Provider and Business Unit Portals, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will focus on delivering secure, performant services while driving technical direction and mentoring engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate secure services for the Provider and Business Unit Portals, ensuring end-to-end ownership
- Set engineering standards for testing, error handling, and API design, while maintaining architecture specifications and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and validate solutions, ensuring clean service boundaries and resilient APIs
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Lead Software Engineer with a track record of mentoring senior engineers
- Expertise in C# / .NET and Typescript / Angular, with experience in relational database design and SQL Server
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and automated test frameworks
- Experience with secure coding practices and knowledge of zero-trust security architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for open source and developer advocacy
