Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of the web user experience for a React and Next.js application, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will provide technical leadership, mentor a team of front-end engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of the agent-to-human handoff experience, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
- Provide mentorship to the front-end engineering team while overseeing the full front-end development lifecycle from concept to production
- Define and implement front-end architecture standards, including React and Next.js, and ensure adherence to coding standards and security guidelines
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience with 4+ years in production web applications using React and TypeScript
- 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams of 3 or more engineers
- Deep hands-on experience with Next.js and building AI or agent-driven user interfaces
- Proven expertise in designing data-heavy enterprise screens and integrating front ends with backend services
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks and CI/CD practices, including Docker and Kubernetes
