Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Lead Software Engineer will design, develop, document, test, and debug software systems while serving as a technical expert on development projects and participating in the full software development life cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Gather information from stakeholders to document functional, system, and data requirements
- Develop and maintain internal applications using various programming languages while performing testing and debugging to resolve issues
- Provide leadership and training to less experienced peers and support Principal trainers in training environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Seven years of software development experience required, with at least five years in IT using general development technologies such as C#, SQL, or Azure Data Factory
- Relevant Epic software certifications may be required within six months of employment
- Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
