Combining hands-on full-stack engineering with technical leadership, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will design and operate web applications and backend services while guiding a product squad in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate accessible web applications, backend services, APIs, and integrations
- Guide architecture decisions and ensure the long-term coherence, security, and maintainability of solutions
- Facilitate delivery decisions, remove impediments, and coordinate dependencies with other squads and technical functions
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including technical leadership
- Strong full-stack capability with expertise in modern frontend and backend development
- Practical experience designing and operating cloud-based, distributed applications
- Strong understanding of architecture, API design, and security
- Experience working in Agile product teams and translating business needs into technical solutions
