Lead Software Engineer - Azure
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract-to-perm basis, the Lead Software Engineer - Azure will provide technical leadership in Azure software development, mentor junior developers, and assist with application deployments and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expertise in Azure software development tasks within a scrum team and mentor junior developers
- Assist with troubleshooting software application issues and manage Azure application deployments, testing, and configuration
- Create detailed documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team for effective collaboration
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Lead .Net application developer with expertise in Azure cloud development
- Strong familiarity with Azure platforms and services, including Azure App Services and Azure API Management
- Proficient in Visual Studio, C#, Python, and development technologies such as Docker and REST Services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Azure tools
- Understanding of security best practices for Azure deployments and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
