Lead Software Engineer IV
Job Summary
Providing hands-on technical leadership, the full-time Lead Software Engineer IV will design and deliver modern API and microservices solutions in a fully remote capacity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance integration capabilities across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical design discussions and develop secure, scalable APIs and microservices in a cloud-based environment
- Mentor engineers on best practices and troubleshoot complex production issues to ensure high availability and performance of applications
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and DevSecOps to take solutions from design through production while improving CI/CD and observability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working knowledge
- 8-12 years of experience developing Enterprise Applications with strong programming and cloud technology knowledge
- Experience in medium-scale project planning and the ability to mentor less experienced team members
- Strong communication and presentation skills for explaining complex technical issues to diverse audiences
- Ability to influence and interact across facilities and various organizational levels
