Lead Software Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the charge in software quality, the full-time Lead Software Quality Engineer will ensure product quality for Positive Train Control solutions by managing the development cycle, driving process improvements, and overseeing compliance both onsite and remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency while supporting engineering teams
- Lead efforts to enhance software First Pass Yield and reduce defect escape rates
- Act as a gatekeeper for software releases, ensuring adherence to processes and standards
Required qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in software development, implementation, or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and process assurance activities
- Experience with Process Audits and Corrective and Preventative Actions
- Ability to lead by influence in a matrix environment
