Lead Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Driving quality at gas suppliers, the full-time remote Lead Supplier Quality Engineer will implement quality plans, manage supplier performance, and oversee audits while ensuring compliance and improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sourcing and Engineering to qualify and approve suppliers in alignment with business needs
• Define and execute product and process qualifications for complex parts and assemblies to ensure readiness for serial production
• Analyze Cost of Poor Quality data to identify systemic improvement opportunities and lead corrective actions with suppliers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical field, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings (GD&T) and complex machining, heat treat, and welding processes
• Experience conducting audits and managing vendor/supplier relationships
• Previous experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing/Process Quality
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments
