Leave Program Manager
Job Summary
Accountable for the design and administration of leave programs, the full-time Leave Program Manager will oversee leave of absence, disability, and accommodation initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulations, and will work remotely to enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate leave of absence and disability programs to ensure compliance and positive employee experiences
- Serve as the subject matter expert on leave and accommodation programs, providing guidance on complex cases and overseeing third-party administrators
- Analyze program data and trends to recommend strategic improvements and enhance compliance and organizational effectiveness
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience
- 7 years of progressive experience in leave of absence, disability, or related benefits administration
- 5 years of experience with multi-state short-term and long-term disability programs
- Experience working with outsourced leave management programs or third-party administrators
- Proven experience interpreting federal and state leave regulations, including FMLA and ADA
