Job Summary
Offering a flexible, part-time remote opportunity, the Legal Assistant Contractor will provide administrative and operational support to the Vice President & General Counsel North America and the Corporate Paralegal, focusing on corporate governance, licensing, and legal operations while managing tasks such as corporate filings and document organization.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with Secretary of State filings, annual reports, and maintain corporate records for U.S. entities
- Manage state and local business licenses, including applications, filings, and renewals
- Support legal department operations through invoice processing, document organization, and general administrative tasks
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in an in-house corporate environment
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
- Advanced computer skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with limited supervision
