Legal Counsel for Compliance
Job Summary
To support a growing global company, the full-time Legal Counsel for Compliance will conduct legal research, ensure adherence to compliance standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research to identify compliance requirements and support business decisions
- Provide legal advice on international matters and manage legal risks across jurisdictions
- Lead compliance-related projects and oversee document management systems and processes
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of legal experience, preferably in-house and in law firm roles
- A university degree in law (Mag. iur.); an LL.M. from a U.S. university is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of civil law and experience in compliance-related fields
- Familiarity with ESG-related legislation, especially PPWR/EPR and EmpCo directives
- Fluency in English, with strong analytical and project management skills
