Job Summary
To support high-achieving pre-law students, the part-time Legal Research Mentor will guide them through the research process, from topic selection to final deliverables, in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor undergraduate students through the full research process, including topic selection and study design
- Guide students in developing high-quality research questions aligned with their academic and career goals
- Provide structured feedback on research plans, data interpretation, and written research drafts
Required qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., law, legal studies, public policy, political science)
- Demonstrated experience conducting academic or legal research
- Strong background in research design, data analysis, and academic writing
- Experience mentoring students or trainees
- Passion for mentorship and student development
