Lending & Finance Attorney
Job Summary
To support a multinational banking and financial services company, an experienced Lending & Finance Attorney will provide legal support for the Private Bank's Lending Solutions business on a remote contract basis for at least four months, focusing on drafting and negotiating lending documentation and analyzing transaction structures.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate various types of lending documentation, including promissory notes and credit agreements
- Analyze transaction structures and assess legal risks associated with different counterparty and collateral types
- Provide lending and contract law advice to Lending Specialists and Credit Risk executives, while fielding outside counsel questions
Required qualifications:
- Law degree with compliance to all relevant licensing requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in lending and financing transactions, either in a law firm or in-house setting
- Proven experience in drafting contracts and conducting contract documentation reviews
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt and apply existing skills to new subject matter areas
