Liability Claims Representative

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of non-attorney represented bodily injury auto claims, the full-time Liability Claims Representative will investigate liability, negotiate settlements, and resolve coverage and damage issues while ensuring compliance with industry regulations, working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify coverage by reviewing policies and interpreting terms and conditions
• Evaluate liability through recorded statements and police reports, negotiating or denying claims as appropriate
• Document all decisions and communications throughout the claims process to ensure compliance with legal and internal policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience
• Ability to analyze detailed documents and insurance regulations
• Proficiency in making claim decisions and managing workload effectively
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and technological aptitude
