Liability Claims Specialist (Adjuster License Required)

Job Summary

As a full-time Liability Claims Specialist (Adjuster License Required), the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of casualty claims within Personal and Commercial underwriting verticals, ensuring high-quality claim handling and timely resolution, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid or remote environment based on location.

Key responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles assigned claims within authority limits
• Develops and follows strategic action plans throughout the life of the claims file
• Conducts thorough liability claim investigations and manages relationships with agency partners and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain all required state department of insurance adjusting licenses and CE's within 90 days of employment
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with 3 years of experience, or 4 years of related experience
• Claims experience in both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines preferred
• CPCU, SCLA, or AIC designations preferred
• Experience drafting coverage letters and managing litigation preferred
