Library Technology Services Librarian

Job Summary

Managing library digital and print resources, the full-time salaried Discovery and Technology Services Librarian will oversee the integrated library system, provide training for staff and patrons, and ensure accurate acquisitions and cataloging of materials, primarily working onsite with some remote project options.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support digital resource acquisition, configuration, and maintenance for various library platforms and tools
• Provide reference assistance and technical support to library patrons and staff while maintaining the library discovery layer
• Analyze e-resource usage data and monitor trends in digital resources to recommend improvements and future directions

Required qualifications

• ALA-accredited master's degree in library science
• Experience managing an integrated library system and discovery layer, preferably with Innovative Interfaces and Ebsco Discovery Service
• Demonstrated knowledge of MARC formats, RDA, and Library of Congress classification
• Experience with licensing and configuration of digital resources
• Familiarity with the Episcopal Church preferred
