Licensed Assistant General Counsel
Job Summary
Supporting the company's growing commercial, product, and regulatory needs, the full-time Licensed Assistant General Counsel will draft and negotiate agreements, advise internal stakeholders on legal compliance, and partner with teams on data and privacy issues in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, SaaS agreements, and MSAs
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal and compliance considerations associated with business operations
- Support privacy, data security, and information governance initiatives, including incident response
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 2 years relevant legal experience (law firm and/or in-house)
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Functional knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, and healthcare regulatory frameworks
