Licensed Auto Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Working fully remotely, the Auto Telephone Claims Adjuster will investigate automobile accidents, determine coverage and liability, and negotiate claims while applying a basic understanding of insurance policies and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for automobile accidents, determining coverage, liability, and damages
• Partner with teams to assess subrogation or fraud potential and manage claims accordingly
• Utilize customer service skills to identify and meet customer needs throughout the claims process

Required qualifications

• Active insurance license with the ability to terminate any existing appointments prior to onboarding
• Basic understanding of auto insurance policies and claims processing
• Familiarity with systems and technology used in the insurance industry
• Early career professional status in claims or related field
• Ability to recognize vehicle body parts and assess potential property damage
