Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician
Job Summary
To support the Ambetter/Marketplace brand, the full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will perform clinical reviews and assess care related to mental health and substance abuse, ensuring services are medically appropriate in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluates member treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness of care
- Performs prior authorization reviews and concurrent reviews of behavioral health inpatient services
- Analyzes behavioral health member data to enhance service quality and utilization
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field required
- Licensed as LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN with state licensure required
- 2-4 years of related experience in utilization management or review preferred
- Clinical knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment plans preferred
- Experience working with healthcare providers in behavioral health settings preferred
