Job Summary
To enhance patient care in a remote environment, the full-time Licensed Bilingual Pharmacist will conduct telephonic consultations regarding specialty medications, perform medication reconciliation, and manage disease states while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide patient education through telephonic consultations focused on disease management and medication administration
- Document clinical consultations and interventions in pharmacy software while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations
- Interpret and evaluate prescriptions for specialty medications, verifying information with providers and patients to expedite order processing
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of residence
- At least two years of experience as a practicing licensed Pharmacist preferred
- Strong clinical background required
- Experience and/or strong understanding of Specialty Pharmacy medications desirable
