Licensed Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote contract Licensed Claims Adjuster will guide customers through the claims process with empathy and accuracy, adjusting assigned claims and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust assigned desk claim files through resolution in accordance with claims-handling regulations and program guidelines
• Request appraisals, estimates, and reports to assist in the investigation of claims
• Communicate with customers via their preferred channels and issue payments as owed under the policy contract

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience adjusting P&C Insurance claims
• Possession of a valid adjuster license
• Experience in homeowners, condo, or landlord insurance
• Extensive knowledge of standard claims practices and processes
• Above average computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
