Licensed Claims Manager

Job Summary

Leading a specialized team in the complex field of medical transportation claims, the full-time remote Licensed Claims Manager will oversee the end-to-end claims process for air ambulance transport and international repatriation, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions while providing support and coaching to team members.

Key responsibilities

• Build and coach a high-performing Transport team, providing daily support and feedback
• Own the claims process for air ambulance transport and international repatriation, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Serve as the escalation point for complex transport cases, collaborating with members, providers, and leadership to resolve disputes and appeals

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of customer service and claims processing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Licensed Claims Adjuster License or ability to obtain within 60 days, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Coaching leadership style with a focus on setting expectations and providing constructive feedback
• Strong understanding of claims regulations and compliance requirements
• Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making; familiarity with claims management systems is a plus
