Job Summary
To support chronic stroke survivors, the remote Licensed Clinical Occupational Therapist will conduct telehealth follow-up visits, perform clinical check-ins, and troubleshoot device-related challenges to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct eligibility screenings and lead skilled telehealth follow-up visits to assess patient progress and adherence to IpsiHand device usage
- Provide occupational therapy services via telehealth, focusing on functional evaluations and neuroplasticity-based interventions
- Monitor patient engagement through routine check-ins and address any barriers to device use while maintaining compliant clinical documentation
Required qualifications
- Active clinical license as a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in good standing
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation, particularly with stroke survivors
- Experience in conducting clinical follow-up assessments and telehealth consultations
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and caregivers remotely
