Job Summary
To support the pharmacy benefit management services, the fully remote Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will manage client implementations, optimize real-time claims reviews, and execute cost containment programs while collaborating with plan sponsors and healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the clinical lead on new client implementations, guiding benefit design decisions and translating client choices into clinical edits
- Monitor pharmacy claims in real time to identify savings opportunities and recommend therapeutic interchanges and lower-cost alternatives
- Generate clinical and financial reports for clients, analyzing trends and preparing content for quarterly business reviews
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience in a PBM, managed care, health plan, or clinical pharmacy setting
- Working knowledge of formulary management, utilization management, and cost containment programs
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with claims data and advanced Excel
