Licensed Clinical Product Director

Job Summary

As the Director, Clinical Product, the full-time remote position will manage the integration of clinical expertise into Headway's platform, collaborating with product, engineering, and data teams to enhance tools used by over 80,000 clinicians while engaging with payer and health system partners to ensure clinical quality and effective outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with product teams to ensure clinical input shapes initiatives from problem definition through launch
• Translate complex clinical and payer workflows into actionable requirements for engineering and design teams
• Monitor product performance across provider adoption, patient experience, and clinical quality, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data

Required qualifications

• An active, unrestricted license as a psychologist (PhD/PsyD) or psychiatrist (MD/DO)
• 8+ years of post-graduate clinical experience, including collaboration with product and engineering teams
• 3+ years of experience in payer-facing roles within technology environments
• Working fluency in payer operations, including utilization management and claims processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and defend metrics that influence product decisions
