Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide comprehensive psychosocial and emotional support to cancer patients and their families through assessments, crisis intervention, and resource linkage while collaborating with healthcare teams.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to address emotional concerns and behavioral health needs
- Provide immediate support and intervention in behavioral health crises and facilitate care coordination
- Advocate for patients' needs and lead support groups while educating families on cancer-related topics
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Valid, active, and unrestricted independent clinical social work license (LISW, LCSW)
- Minimum three to five years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or palliative care
- Preferred certifications include OSW-C or APHSW-C
- Experience with technology and virtual communication platforms is essential
