Job Summary
To support a federal client, the remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker will perform brief, evidenced-based virtual counseling for patients with acute mental health conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and exercise clinical judgment while adhering to military health system standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual individual and group counseling sessions for low to moderate acuity patients
- Develop, monitor, and document comprehensive treatment plans while utilizing the DSM for diagnosis
- Prepare and maintain patient records and case summaries in compliance with service and hospital SOPs
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution
- Two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Social Worker using virtual platforms
- Current, unrestricted clinical license to practice Clinical Social Work independently
- Experience with bio-psychosocial evaluations and behavioral health treatment plans
- Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
