Licensed Commercial Attorney
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time Licensed Commercial Attorney will provide business-oriented legal support, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and advise on healthcare laws while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal support to Commercial, Market Access, Payer Relations, and Sales teams on various commercial programs and strategic initiatives
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare laws and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop legal strategies that align with business objectives and manage associated risks
Required qualifications
- JD and licensed to practice law in at least one state and one federal jurisdiction in the U.S
- 5+ years of experience with commercial agreements, particularly in health law, medical devices, or life sciences
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, and compliance requirements
- Experience with commercial and government payer relations is a plus
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment
