Licensed Commercial Counsel
Job Summary
As a full-time Licensed Commercial Counsel working remotely, the successful candidate will independently lead legal negotiations for Enterprise and Strategic deals, manage various transaction agreements, and contribute to streamlining Optro's contracting process.
Key responsibilities
- Lead legal negotiations with customers, focusing on subscription, data processing, partner, and vendor agreements
- Provide general guidance on transactions while collaborating with Area Directors and their teams
- Shape key initiatives to enhance the efficiency of Optro's contracting process as the company scales
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of in-house transactional experience with direct customer and partner interaction
- 3+ years of experience negotiating SaaS agreements with enterprise customers
- Understanding of the full contract lifecycle from NDA to signature conclusion
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
- Proficiency in managing contracts using Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites
