Job Summary
To support a growing portfolio, the full-time Licensed Commercial Property Underwriter will review, underwrite, and rate renewal business while collaborating with brokers to negotiate terms and maintain strong relationships in a virtual environment.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite a renewal book of business in accordance with underwriting guidelines
- Collaborate with brokers and agents to negotiate renewal terms and maintain strong business relationships
- Analyze policies and endorsements to identify errors and ensure agreement with applications and quotes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six (6) or more years of related work experience in the insurance industry
- Valid Insurance License with ongoing renewal requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong knowledge of insurance industry practices and standards
