Job Summary
To support a sophisticated commercial real estate finance business, the remote Licensed Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney will provide legal counsel on lending transactions, focusing on multifamily agency finance, while collaborating with transaction teams and internal partners.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on commercial real estate financing transactions secured by multifamily properties, emphasizing lender-side representation
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate loan, servicing, and related transaction documents
- Counsel on title insurance, surveys, zoning, environmental matters, and regulatory developments related to multifamily agency finance
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of legal experience
- Experience representing lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions secured by multifamily properties
- Strong working knowledge of commercial real estate loan documentation and related matters
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders
