Job Summary
Providing project leadership within the Substation Engineering team, the full-time Licensed Consulting Substation Engineer will develop project scopes, perform quality assurance reviews, and mentor team members while working remotely from any location.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop scope of work and conceptual designs for substation projects
- Perform quality assurance reviews and coordinate engineering deliverables with stakeholders
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the engineering and design team
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) is required
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the electric utility industry
- Experience in utility substation design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
