Licensed Corporate Counsel
Job Summary
To support a range of moderately complex projects, the full-time Temporary Corporate Counsel will deliver legal counsel on privacy, data governance, AI, and IT operations while negotiating technology-related agreements and collaborating with various internal teams remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing enterprise technology contracting, including vendor agreements and data processing agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess and mitigate legal risks related to technology and data privacy
- Provide strategic guidance on organizational policies concerning privacy, data protection, and emerging technologies
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution
- 4+ years' experience in a law firm or in-house legal setting
- Working knowledge of technology, privacy laws, and AI governance
- Demonstrated experience in contract review, negotiation, and drafting in technology contexts
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
