Licensed Counselor

Job Summary

Providing compassionate support remotely, the Licensed Counselor will conduct assessments and brief solution-focused counseling while managing cases and connecting members with appropriate resources within an Employee Assistance Program.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic triage and assessments for members facing behavioral health, substance use, relationship, or work-life concerns
• Coordinate and manage cases from initial intake through completion, ensuring necessary follow-up and documentation
• Collaborate with service providers and Human Resources to connect members with appropriate resources and support positive outcomes

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related behavioral health field
• At least five years of experience as an EAP counselor or in a similar behavioral health clinical role
• Strong assessment, triage, crisis-support, and case management capabilities
• Knowledge of behavioral health conditions and HIPAA requirements
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications
