Licensed Crisis Intervention Specialist
Job Summary
To support clients during acute mental health crises, the full-time Licensed Crisis Intervention Specialist will monitor crisis queues, respond to inbound crisis calls, and collaborate with the clinical team to develop intervention plans, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor crisis queues and provide real-time risk assessment and safety planning during client sessions
- Screen clients at risk of harm and collaborate on stabilization planning
- Complete required documentation in compliance with standards and best practices
Required qualifications
- Independently licensed clinician
- Previous experience in crisis intervention preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, including evenings and weekends
- Motivated individual passionate about mental health and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with cloud-based communication tools and relevant software
