Job Summary
Managing a caseload of customs enforcement actions, the full-time Licensed Customs Broker Specialist will oversee cargo detained by various government agencies, ensuring timely resolutions while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage CBP exam holds and PGA detentions from intake through resolution
- Track and respond to CBP notices within statutory deadlines and coordinate appropriate disposition paths
- Serve as the primary customs broker contact, building relationships with government personnel and coordinating logistics for cargo returns
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or import/export operations
- Basic knowledge of Excel, including math and logical functions
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with potential overtime
- Experience in accurate data entry and analysis
