Job Summary
To ensure adherence to customs laws and regulations in the LATAM region, the full-time Licensed Customs Compliance Leader will manage Wabtec Corporation's customs compliance strategy, implement enterprise standards, and work cross-functionally to support business operations and compliance initiatives, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain customs compliance strategy and enterprise standards for Wabtec entities acting as importer or exporter of record
- Operationalize compliance processes and respond to government inquiries related to customs
- Conduct training and liaise with cross-functional teams to address trade compliance issues and develop action plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of industry customs compliance experience, including leadership experience
- Licensed Customs Broker or equivalent in-country certification
- Deep knowledge of LATAM customs and trade regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Spanish and English
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
