Licensed Customs Compliance Manager

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with customs regulations and optimize tariff strategies, the full-time Global Customs Compliance Manager will oversee approximately 200 annual import transactions, collaborating with various internal teams and external partners in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate customs clearance and manage relationships with brokers and freight forwarders for timely and compliant import transactions
• Maintain a centralized product classification database and monitor tariff changes, ensuring accurate classification and compliance with trade regulations
• Develop and document customs compliance procedures and conduct routine audits to enhance accuracy and efficiency in customs processes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on customs compliance or customs brokerage experience
• Strong practical experience with ACE, HTSUS tariff classification, and customs valuation
• Proven ability to research tariff changes and translate them into operational impacts
• Experience with USMCA or other preferential trade program documentation
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
