Licensed Dental Consultant
Job Summary
Working remotely as a part-time or full-time Licensed Dental Consultant, the candidate will utilize dental AI technology to review insurance claims for medical necessity and eligibility, process appeals, and communicate outcomes to providers and plan members.
Key responsibilities
- Authorize or deny claims by reviewing radiographs and documentation in accordance with member plan benefits
- Evaluate appeals and request additional information to make revised claim decisions
- Participate in training sessions and provide feedback to enhance claims review productivity and accuracy
Required qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Prior claims review experience strongly preferred (2+ years)
- Active, unrestricted dental license
- Proficiency with CDT codes and dental procedures
