Job Summary
Providing telephonic and video counseling, the full-time Licensed EAP Counselor will engage with clients to offer in-the-moment support, crisis management, and develop treatment plans while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide single session telephonic and video counseling, ensuring client confidentiality and ethical support
- Assess clients for appropriateness for short-term counseling and manage high-risk calls
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in the case management system
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology
- Minimum of 2 years of direct client-contact experience in counseling or mental health services
- Experience with clinical assessment tools and short-term counseling modalities such as Solution-Focused and CBT
- Training in crisis intervention and experience with high-risk clients is beneficial
- Ability to work with clients facing substance abuse, crisis situations, and mental health concerns
