Licensed General Liability Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Handling business owner liability claims, the full-time remote Licensed General Liability Claims Adjuster will analyze coverage issues, draft coverage letters, and communicate with various parties, including attorneys, while managing an active desk of general liability property damage claims.

Key responsibilities

• Manages an active desk of general liability property damage claims under business owner policies
• Analyzes coverage issues and evaluates new loss notices and claim tenders
• Handles litigated claims and collaborates with defense counsel on strategies

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 5 years of general liability claims adjusting experience preferred, or 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in GL claims as a substitute for a degree
• State adjuster license(s) required
• Experience in litigated liability property damage/construction defects claims is essential
• CPCU or other industry designation is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Word and Excel
