Job Summary
Providing psychosocial support and resources, the full-time Licensed Hotline Counselor will engage with help-seekers via telephonic, text, and chat inquiries on the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming inquiries, conducting assessments to provide immediate psychosocial support and evidence-based information
- Educate help-seekers about perinatal mental health resources and refer them to appropriate services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of cases in the Salesforce system, adhering to established policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.) is preferred
- Must be a Licensed Mental Health Clinician or Licensed Healthcare Professional with experience in maternal and child health
- Two years of work experience in the maternal and child health population
- Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence
- Proficiency in using software applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
